VISION: Good people working together for the good of people.

MISSION: To assist those in need in our communities by promoting, identifying and developing partnerships between individuals, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. We will stand out from other charitable organizations by designing events that will engage Individuals, who will contribute their time, and businesses who will contribute money and product, to assemble kits containing supplies for everyday survival that will be distributed, through not-for-profit organizations, to those who need them. We will inspire people and businesses to engage in a hands-on experience with a tangible outcome that will change the daily lives of people in our communities.

We are a group of business people who volunteer our time to organize and execute Project Winter Survival annually. We raise funds and use those funds, along with a lot of donated product, to build 3,500 backpacks filled with warm toques, scarves, thermal socks and gloves, a hygiene kit containing 15 items, reusable thermal mug, notepad & pen, hand sanitizer, activity book, stressball and other items that agencies serving the homeless tell us are much needed. We then distribute the backpacks, along with 3,500 sleeping bags, to agencies who work directly with the homeless through street outreach programs, small community groups and shelters including The Salvation Army, Covenant House, Z'havata, Fred Victor, Good Sheppard and many more - in all 240 agencies. The kits are packed by employees of our corporate donors who volunteer a Saturday in January. We have no employees and over 90% of the funds raised go directly to purchasing the kit items for which we can't find a product donor.
