THE DONKEY SANCTUARY OF CANADA

Sanctuary for donkeys, mules and hinnies

The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) is a charitable organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of donkeys, mules, and hinnies in need. Located in Puslinch, Ontario, the sanctuary provides a safe haven for these gentle animals who have been neglected, abused, or abandoned, ensuring they receive proper medical care, nutritious food, and a loving environment. Beyond its role as a refuge, the DSC is deeply committed to education and advocacy, working to raise awareness about the unique needs and qualities of donkeys while promoting responsible ownership and humane treatment. Visitors to the sanctuary can engage in educational tours and programs that foster a deeper understanding of these often-overlooked animals and their contributions to human history and agriculture. Through its compassionate efforts, The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada not only transforms the lives of the animals it serves but also inspires a broader appreciation for animal welfare and the importance of kindness and respect toward all living beings.
