2025 in One Word: Postcards from the Year of Generosity

As the year draws to a close, reflection feels natural. December invites us to pause — to look back on what shaped us, stretched us, and quietly changed us along the way.

At GiveWise, generosity is more than something we facilitate; it’s something we experience firsthand. Through conversations with donors, partnerships with charities, collaboration with advisors, and the daily work we do together as a team, we see how generosity shows up in countless ways — sometimes loudly, often quietly, and almost always meaningfully.

This year, we tried something simple. We asked each team member to reflect on 2025 and choose one word that captured their year — a word connected to generosity, growth, impact, or connection. From there, each person wrote a short “postcard,” as if sending a note from the year itself.

These postcards are small snapshots — personal reflections from different perspectives across our work — but together, they tell a larger story of what this year has held.
