When we launched the Nepal Emergency Relief Fund earlier this month, we invited the GiveWise community to come together to support organizations responding to urgent needs in Nepal.

In our original Nepal Emergency Relief Fund blog, we shared why the fund was created and how bringing individual gifts together can help direct support where it is needed most.

Thanks to your generosity, $10,045 has been raised and distributed so far, supporting two organizations with established connections in Nepal and teams responding on the ground.

Where your generosity is going

$7,500 has been directed to Rescue Network Nepal, supporting flood relief.

$2,545 has been directed to Ally Global Foundation to support its work alongside Nepalese Home. With long-standing relationships already established in affected communities, their team was able to take immediate action following the flooding. Within the first 24 hours, the team prepared 100 relief packages containing food and essential supplies and sent three loaded trucks to Nuwakot. They also spent 10 days supporting government relief deliveries and are preparing to provide care and shelter for children orphaned by the disaster.

October 2026 Update: Your Generosity in Action

We've received encouraging updates from both organizations supported through the Nepal Emergency Relief Fund, giving us a closer look at how your generosity is helping families and communities affected by the flooding.

Rescue Network Nepal: Supporting vulnerable children and communities

Rescue Network Nepal (RNN) continues to assess the needs of flood-affected communities and identify where its support can make the greatest difference.

While food relief was initially a priority, government supplies began reaching affected areas, allowing RNN to focus on other urgent needs.

One particularly pressing concern is the number of children who have lost their homes and families. Working through local community connections, RNN and other relief leaders have identified 32 children between the ages of six and fourteen who are in urgent need of safety, food, shelter and emotional support.

Local leaders are exploring longer-term care arrangements for these children, while focusing on their immediate needs.

With an established network of trained first-aid workers and local relationships throughout Nepal, RNN is well-positioned to respond as needs continue to evolve.

Ally Global Foundation: Essential supplies reaching families

Through its long-standing partnership with Nepalese Home, Ally Global Foundation continues to support families affected by the flooding in Nuwakot.

At the end of September, the Nepalese Home team returned to affected communities with two trucks and an SUV carrying essential supplies, including groceries, 100 cases of drinking water, clothing for 400 people, diapers and hygiene kits.

On their first day, the team personally delivered food packages to 25 families, with plans to continue distributing supplies to other affected households.

Their response builds on years of relationships with families in the region, helping them understand local needs and respond with care.
