Administrative and Marketing Support Coordinator

GiveWise is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented university student, between the ages of 15-30, to join our team as an Administrative and Marketing Support Coordinator. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both administrative operations and digital marketing within a dynamic, mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will support our team in various aspects of administration, content creation, and marketing outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative assistance, including document preparation, data entry, and organizing digital files.

  • Maintain and update internal systems, including CRM, spreadsheets, and GitBook documentation.

  • Support team meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.

  • Assist with organizing and managing digital content, ensuring materials are properly categorized and accessible.

 

Marketing and Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to create and edit digital content, including videos, testimonials, and marketing materials.

  • Help coordinate marketing campaigns, ensuring all materials are prepared, scheduled, and aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Research industry trends, donor engagement strategies, and potential partners to support marketing initiatives.

  • Maintain and update the organization’s knowledge base (GitBook), ensuring content is clear, accurate, and well-organized.

     

Technical and Research Support:

  • Provide basic technical support, including troubleshooting digital tools and supporting team members with software.

  • Conduct research to support fundraising initiatives, donor engagement strategies, and marketing outreach.

  • Manage and update donor information, tracking engagement metrics and ensuring data accuracy.

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience with digital tools, including GitBook, HubSpot, Canva, ChatGPT, and social media platforms.

  • Proficiency in video editing and content creation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Compensation:

  • $19.00 per hour

  • 30-40 hours per week


Location:

  • Hybrid in-office Abbotsford, BC 
  • This is a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) position. Applicants must have access to a reliable laptop for daily work.
